Pitches where large and well marked. Grass and bushes were trimmed and tidy. Pool area was really fresh and fairly new. There are water slides and a bar and snack area by the pool but we didn't get to experience these as they were only open from 1st July. There are plenty of swings etc for kids, a tennis court, volleyball court and boules pitches. There is even a rope bridge adventure area for the bigger kids. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
The showers required a card to make them work which I found challenging on the first use....and you still need to keep pressing the dreaded push button water tap??
the lady on reception was courteous & kind , very helpful after we arrived on a tow truck ......
the cycling was good esp. on cycle paths although some of the roads were very busy for september
it is on a busy main road & to leave & return to the campsite safely needs some advice regarding best route.
there was some night-time noise from the near by industrial estate
Family run site with such friendly people! Pitch size is amazing! Our fully serviced pitch was worth the extra money. Site is beautifully maintained. The pool complex is greatly improved, lovely and clean. Off season it’s like having your own private pool.
Supermarkets and beaches close by.
We spent 4 weeks there and felt completely relaxed and welcomed! Thank you!
We appreciate why the bar and amenities close in September, but it would have been nice to have a little shop for essentials. A little more information about markets and other points of interest in the area would be helpful.
Upon entering the site it was very inviting. Easy access from main road. Staff in reception informative and spoke very good English. A very pleasant welcome. Guided to our pitch and told us where all ameneties were. Toilets and washing facilities were clean and plentiful. Swimming pool area excellent. Very quiet at night. We highly recommend this site and it would be great for a family with children as there is a large adventure playground. Will definitely return.
Avery small negative. Long walk to recycling area although this was good for my waistline.
Quality, staff friendliness
It did rain
Pool was 5*
Pitches were also good and we’re lucky we didn’t have neighbors, some other streets were quite busy
Ourselves had a very good stay
We had reserved with power supply, but our pitch didn’t have power supply, we only stayed for one night and managed
Also food supply was very limited, I can understand the choice but is not so convenient
